Ivory Towers

Ivory Towers is VASKOS second solo exhibition. It takes place at the self-organised art space “Asklipiou 99” in Athens, in 2017.  It includes ceramics (Six plateaux de plaisir and Floating Castle), drawings (Late Autumn Afternoon), and photographic diptychs (Déjà vu). At the opening the publication “VASKOS” was launched. The publication contains material from our first exhibition and an introductory text by art critic Yannis Konstantinidis. The ceramics consist of a group of platters and a cluster of articulated towers. The drawings (mixed materials on colored paper, 20 x 30 cm) are made in common. The photographic diptychs are composed every time of one photo by Vassilis and one by Kostas with a common subject.
